I Almost Got It!....

Now there is a moment that doesn't happen every day. lol! I am not a bird watcher per say but I would imagine this is one memorable moment for this guy.

Wednesday is here, lots going on and yet I remain quite calm inside. How do you respond to times in life where you don't really know what direction to take? Do you sit down with a pad and pencil? Do you connect with nature and try to slow things down? or do you simply keep moving and hope for the best?

This is where my mind is at lately. Not quite sure which way is up and yet I am able to sleep at night, think logically and most importantly retain some level of sanity. Okay, that last one is debatable but nevertheless, it's going to be okay.

SO c'mon, let's chat a bit. Tell me a good story of a time on your life that you made a decision that changed it's course for the better. It's amazing what we can learn by sharing each others stories.

pull up a chair and stay a while, this is going to get interesting....

much bird love

I love watching the birds outside my window.
I like taking pictures of them too. I just snapped a nice picture of a BlueJay a couple of minutes ago. My favorite is this red cardinal that comes to visit every now and then.

Ever have a thought that comes to your mind when you see something and you don't know why?

Faithful, that's the word I come up with.

I have a good bird story to tell you.
Many years ago someone told me to read Psalms 91. It speaks about Gods protection and faithfulness. So I thought I would go sit outside in the backyard and read it. Well, I go to sit down and there was an eagle on the fence! At first I thought I was seeing things. I ran in the house and said Mom look at this, the eagle came to the front of the house and was sitting on the fence post. Imagine that? I never forgot that.

How do I respond to times when I don't know which direction to take?
I pray, pray and pray some more...I read what God has to say about the subject or decision in His word and look at ways that biblical people respond to those things and try to do the same.

I do like to be outside when I am stressed out and just relax and do some things around the yard.

Pad and pencil. Yes, that too. :)

Tell you a decision that changed it's course for the better.
lots of decisions.
I have heard that we shouldn't make a decison when we are hungry, angry, lonely, or tired.

HALT

A lot of things I stopped doing based on just those feelings. I imagine things have changed their course.

Repentance is a good thing. ;)

Better choices, better results? Hopefully. I'm not perfect.
